Linda M. Binek, is a native of Detroit and studied art in both high school and at the University of Michigan, but switched to the BusinessSchool in her last year of college. In 2000 she followed her husband to Fort Wayne and retired from the world of international tax and accounting. Here, she resumed her painting studies with passion and determination, attending workshops and pursuing her masters in arts at the University of St. Francis. Linda paints daily in her home studio.  Currently her passion is abstract painting using unique methods and textures in watercolors, acrylics, inks and collage.  She has exhibited her watermedia work throughout Indiana including the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, the Indiana State Museum and the Artlink contemporary gallery.  She has won numerous local awards including best of show and exhibited at national shows including the National Watercolor Society and the International Society of Experimental Artists.
